Clean Water Changes Everything

The Spring is a dedicated community of monthly supporters working together to put an end to the global water crisis. Contributors from over 100 nations give whatever they can, proving that when people unite, remarkable things become possible.

Access to clean water keeps children in school, particularly girls. When less time is spent fetching water, more time is available for learning. Safe water and proper sanitation facilities at schools mean teenage girls no longer have to miss a week of class each month.

In Natalia's village, clean water was once scarce, and she rarely had time for school. Today she attends class every day and serves as President of her local Water Committee — and she is only getting started.

How We Address the Water Crisis

We collaborate with local experts and community members to identify the most sustainable solution for each location, whether that means a well, a piped network, a BioSand Filter, or a rainwater harvesting system. For every water point we fund, our partners coordinate sanitation and hygiene training and establish a local Water Committee to keep water flowing for years to come.
